In “Ashura Day” has been held actions of volunteer blood donation by purpose of getting over to patients. According to the given information from Ministry of Health to RIYAD MEDIA, organizational activities of the Ministry of Health and Caucasian Moslems office has been held actions of volunteer blood donation by purpose to get over for patients.  
Actions has been held “Teze pir” , “ shah Abbas”, “Cuma”, “Mirmovsum agha”, “Khara chuhur”, “Goy Mascid”,(Ajdar baj), “Bibiheybat” in Mosques which is located in Baku, also in Mosques which is located Ganja, Masalli, Lankaran, Calilabad and in Central Blood bank which is under the inistitution of Hemetology and Transphusiology. 
In “ Ashura Day” which is related blood donation action, 2773 person has given blood, in the consequence 1200 litres blood has been prepared. Laying been in blood and preparations prepared from blood will be used with hemopholia and talassemia and in the cure of patients. 
Last year in “AShura day” 2137 person gave blood as willingly , 1110 litres (1.1 tons) blood was prepared.
